Club days are every Sunday during the season – September to April each year with training in the morning and club racing for all fleets for club championship points. In addition to this we offer paid coaching during the week for all classes which leads up to participation in national and international regattas.

Membership Costs 2023/2024Membership Pricing Structure
In 2020, our new membership pricing structure came into effect. Previously, memberships were either Individual or Family. The new structure is based around how many sailors there are in a family. For a family of one sailor, they will be charged a Single Sailor Family fee. This includes individuals. For a family or two or more sailors, they will be charged a Multi Sailor Family fee. Scenario 1: A family of 3, one child and two parents. The child should be registered as a Sailor, and the two parents should be registered as Parents/Guardians. The family will be charged a Single Sailor Family fee. Scenario 2: A family of 5, three children and two parents. Two of the three children sail. The two sailing children should be registered as Sailors, and the two parents should be registered as Parents/Guardians. The third non-sailing child should not be registered at all. The family will be charged a Multi Sailor Family fee. Scenario 3: A couple, one sails and the other supports. The sailor registers as a Sailor. If the partner wishes to be kept up-to-date, they can register as a Parent/Guardian. They will be charged a Single Sailor Family fee. Full Season Membership Fees

Casual Fee $20 per race day Coaching Sunday Morning (per season) For Optimist Orange, Green, and Starling Development fleets | $300 Tuesday Evening (per season) For all fleets | $300 Casual Coaching (per session) For all fleets | $30 Boat Storage Fees Per boat, per season | $200 LTS (Learn to Sail) Course Fees The Junior Learn To Sail course cost is a flat fee of $400 including boat hire during session times. Club Refund Policy Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Torbay Sailing Club General Committee. Regatta Fees refund policy will be notified in official Notice of Race for each regatta. Must be put in writing. |
