Optimist ORANGE FleetOrange Fleet is for Opti sailors transitioning from learn to sail to actual racers competing in dedicated Green Fleet races then onto Open Fleet. The focus is on rapid skill development and the learning of boat handling in close confines with other boats. Typically it is a great mix of game playing on the water to learn skills along with drills like starts and laying marks to get kids ready for racing. Torbay has coaching mid-week and every Sunday for Orange Fleet. All in a well supported environment with Safety Boats close by.
